在2024年，因為一個奇幻的想法，想讓更多海外的朋友有機會來到馬來西亞 柔佛州【 峇株巴轄 】這個小鎮，也想藉此機會讓仨人團隊與外界的攝影師有一個連結和攝影交流，而開始了一個聽起來名堂很大的 【 仨人國際交換生計畫 】在歷時半年的時光裡，我們接待了來自各國不同區域的朋友，包含 中國大陸，日本，香港，韓國，印尼，新加坡，台灣，澳洲 和 比利時 的各地攝影師，一起來到仨人的堡壘 ～
【 峇株巴轄 】 一起體驗拍攝工作，生活，還有最真實的仨人生活。 這是一次很棒的旅程，因為攝影，讓我們和世界各地的攝影師擁有了連結和交集，雖不同文化背景，但卻如此熟悉。
每一次迎接新的朋友的到來時，都是從陌生，慢慢的破冰，一起拍攝，學習，創作到最後離開時的不捨。這些情感都是真實的，熾熱的，有人說這裡是攝影的烏托邦，覺得是因為有你們，讓我們的攝影之旅也變得很不一樣。看似都在嬉鬧，吃美食，把攝影這件事情被拋在腦後，但在創作的過程中，有這樣一次逃離，暫停的機會，也是攝影很需要的一次空窗。

我們即將再一次開放第二季的報名。但和以往不同的事，我們將在兩個禮拜的時間裡

這一季，我們只將開放10個名額，在收到報名表格之後，我們將會通過郵件通知正式入選的參與者。參與者需符合基本條規和根據指定時間報到，必須參與全程計畫 【 16 - 30 august 2025 】 ，直到結束為止。 費用已經包含住宿，工作服，和課程中所需用品，如膠卷，藥水和展出打印材料。但參與者需自行準備相機器材 【 建議包含膠卷相機 】 和電腦。 但過程中膳食是不包含的。
In 2024, driven by a whimsical idea, we wanted to introduce our beloved small town, Batu Pahat to our overseas friends. At the same time, we hoped to create a space for our team and photographers from around the world to connect and exchange ideas.
That’s how the “Sanren International Exchange Program” was born.
Over the course of six months, we welcomed photographers from China, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, and Belgium to the Sanren base in Batu Pahat.
We worked, lived, explored, and experienced the most authentic Sanren lifestyle together. It was a beautiful journey—through our work, we built meaningful connections with photographers across the globe, and friendships began to bloom everywhere.
Each time we welcomed a new friend, we started as strangers, slowly broking the walls, and went on to shoot, learn, and create together—only to end with heartfelt goodbyes. These emotions were real, raw, and passionate.
Some have said this place feels like a utopia for photography, and we believe it’s because of you. Because of your presence, our lives were changed.
Though it often looked like we were just having fun, enjoying food, and leaving the thoughts of photography behind, the truth is that this journey gave us all a much-needed pause and escape in the creative process—something every photographer longs for.

We can’t wait for you to walk the path to Batu Pahat.
This time, we are excited to reopen applications for Season 2 Sanren International Exchange Program , and it will be unlike previous program before.
During this two-week program, participants will experience:
• Daily life with the Sanren team
• Collaborative and styled photography projects
• Darkroom enlargement workshops
• Black-and-white film photowalk
• Film photography & post-processing (developing & scanning)
• Wet plate photography
• Brand and management sharing by Sanren
• Co-curating a photography exhibition
• Team discussions & sharing
We will be only opening 10 spots this time. After receiving the application forms, we will notify the selected participants.
Applicants must meet the basic requirements and be available for the full program, which runs from 16–30 August 2025.
The fee sincludes accommodation, work attire, and all required materials for the workshops (film rolls, chemicals, exhibition prints, etc.).
However, participants are expected to bring their own photography gear (film cameras recommended) and a laptop.
Meals are not included in the program.
